Nijmegen, Baby!

ph/ private

Went to visit a friend in Nijmegen, two weeks ago. Once I got there (after traveling for 2 hours), turned out that there were all kind of things to do in and around the city! So we walked down town, ate at this amazing (kind of hidden) hotel/lunchroom/chillzone, acted like two little kids, scraping all of our change together to get some kid-sized cotton candy (and they were BIG for a kid-size... Imagine what an adult-sized must have been like) and partied all night.

CIAO for now!

ph/ me & maylen

Spend the afternoon shooting downtown with my friend. This is a tradition of ours which we do once or twice a year.

15-12-13

Happy December!

This is a poster that I designed for a dinner at my fraternity/sorority club. Lately I've been learning how to work with Illustrator & Photoshop and I must say; I'm hooked!

I think I'm going to upload more stuff over the couple of months (;

I'm back

It's been a while since I've posted something. I've been busy with working, exercising (gym, hockey, running), and spending time figuring out Photoshop.

This is my very first GIF that I made and I am very proud of it. It can get annoying after a while to see the background color change all the time, but hey, you'll get used to it ;)

Have a nice weekend (I know I do, finally some sun in Holland, YAY!)

Baking

ph/ private

Just some pictures of stuff I've baked recently. I am very proud of myself how those buns (left corner) turned out! I'm a total disaster when it comes to bread, but I was ready for the challenge and together with my Kenwood standing mixer we conquered it!

Happy Wednesday!

Paris part 5

ph/ private

On the last day we went to Montmartre, the part where most of the artists live. At least, that's what our travel book said. I really liked it because it's very parisian but on the other hand very different.

I really liked that between all those grey, beige and white houses there's a bright pink one. The houses have more green on the outside compared to the rest of Paris. Also a plus. ;)

Paris part 4

ph/ private

I still wanted to show you all the pictures that I've made of Paris, so here's part 4. We went to the Notre Dame (unfortunately I don't have any pictures of that) and to the Arc de Triompe (including the Champs-Elysees, which I'm not a big fan of). We also walked on the bridge-with-all-the-locks-that-symbolize-the-our-love-is-forever-locks (I forgot the name of the brigde) and we went to Le Bon Marché.
